CAMGSD Postdoctoral Preliminary Call

The Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry and Dynamical Systems, Lisbon, Portugal, has opened a call of interest for postdoctoral applicants (deadline April 30th).
Target Audience: PhD holders from abroad looking for a postdoctoral position to start between Sep 2026 and Jan 2028. PhD students w/ expected conclusion in 2026 are also encouraged to apply.
Selected candidates will be asked to prepare a full application, with the support of CAMGSD Science Management office, directed at one of four postdoctoral grants:
• Strategic Postdoctoral Grant (CAMGSD): 2y grant reserved for exceptional candidates (adjustable start date) Conditions: PhD degree < 3y ago, no prior relation w/ CAMGSD
• MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (EU): 1-2y research grant, deadline 09/09/2026 (est. start May 2027-Sept 2028) Conditions: PhD degree < 8y ago, no activity in Portugal in the last 3y
• Individual Scientific Employment (FCT/PT): 3y research contract with the Portuguese government (est. start Jan 2028) Conditions: PhD degree, no prior relation w/ CAMGSD
• LaCaixa Postdoctoral Junior Leader Fellowships (LaCaixa/ES): 3y grant, expected deadline Sep 2026 (est. start May 2027 - Dec 2027) Conditions: PhD degree between 2 to 7y ago, no activity in Portugal in the last 3y
How to apply? Fill the form w/ CV, research statement (up to 2 pages) and up to two recommendation letters. Applicants with the support of a CAMGSD researcher will have priority.

Este encontro reúne investigadores líderes que trabalham em processos estocásticos, sistemas de partículas em interação e suas amplas aplicações em matemática, física e muito mais. Organizado como parte do workshop intercalar LiBERA no âmbito do Intercâmbio de Pessoal das Ações Marie Skłodowska-Curie do Horizonte Europa (projeto n.º 101183168LiBERA), oferece uma oportunidade única para intercâmbio interdisciplinar na interface de análise, probabilidade, física matemática, numérica e aplicações.
O programa inclui 26 palestras apresentando resultados recentes e aplicações inovadoras, proporcionando uma plataforma para discussões animadas e compartilhamento de conhecimento.

A Geometria Lorentziana fornece os fundamentos matemáticos para a teoria da Relatividade de Einstein. Esta conferência tem como objetivo divulgar investigação sobre todos os aspectos da Geometria Lorentziana, incluindo Geometria Diferencial, Análise Geométrica, Equações Diferenciais Parciais e Relatividade Matemática. Haverá palestras de investigação, um mini-curso e uma sessão de posters, bem como um jantar de convívio. Estudantes e jovens investigadores são encorajados a participar.
