The IST Lectures on Algebraic Geometry and Physics started in 1999 and target the bridging of gaps between exciting new areas of Algebraic Geometry and Physics.

The Iberian Strings 2013 meeting is the fourth meeting of the Iberian Strings series, which in turn superseded previous editions of the Workshop on Gravitational Aspects of Strings and Branes and of Northwest Strings. These meetings bring together a large part of the string theory community of Spain and Portugal and aim at discussing recent advances in the field of strings and branes.

This meeting, whose scope comprises Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations and related topics, aims to promote integration of researchers of both Institutes (and others), with the presentation of research works and plenary lectures of the participants.

The XXth Oporto Meeting on Geometry, Topology and Physics will take place in Oporto, Portugal, from July 19th to 22nd, 2012 (Thursday to Sunday). The aim of the Oporto Meetings is to bring together mathematicians and physicists interested in the inter-relation between geometry, topology and physics and to provide them with a pleasant and informal environment for scientific interchange.

WOTCA 2012 aims to bring together, in a friendly and scientifically fruitful environment, researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis and related areas in Mathematics, as well as their applications to Engineering and Physics.

The workshop is organised in the context of the FCT project Toeplitz operators and Riemann-Hilbert problems: at the crossroad of Operator Theory and Complex Analysis.
