Meetings Edit

The purpose of this conference is to bring together researchers from both sides of the Atlantic around topics of Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations providing a stimulating environment for scientific interchange. This conference involves researchers from the Instituto de Matemática e Estatística of Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP) and the Centro de Análise Matemática, Geometria e Sistemas Dinâmicos (CAMGSD) of the Mathematics Department of Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (IST-UTL) and will use the facilities of the Núcleo de Modelagem Estocástica e Complexidade (NUMEC) da USP.

The Fall Workshops on Geometry and Physics have been held yearly since 1992, and bring together Spanish and Portuguese geometers and physicists, along with an ever increasing number of participants from outside the Iberian peninsula. The meetings aim to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between researchers from different backgrounds, and always include a substantial number of enthusiastic young researchers amongst the participants.
