The Workshop on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and Applications 2024 - WOTCA 2024 will be held at University of Madeira, Funchal, on July 22-26, 2024.

It aims to bring together researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and their applications, in particular Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state
of the art in these fields, to present open problems and to promote collaborative discussions.

This workshop follows the line of several previous WOTCA meetings. The programme will consist of several invited 25+5 minute talks and a very small number of contributed talks.

WOTCA 2024 has no registration fee and is open to everybody interested, but the number of participants will be limited, in order to foster dialogue in a friendly atmosphere.

A parallel workshop for young researchers, YRFAMP''24, will be organized from July 23-25, in Funchal

This workshop is funded by national funds through the FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., under the scope of the projects: UIDB/04459/2020 and UIDP/04459/2020 (CAMGSD, IST-ID); UIDB/04674/2020 (CIMA); UIDB/04106/2020 and UIDP/04106/2020 (CIDMA),  UIDB/00013/2020 and UIDP/00013/2020 (CMAT-UM).

Particle Systems and Partial Differential Equations – PSPDE XI

@ Instituto Superior Técnico

The meeting brings together active researchers working in the fields of Particle Systems and Partial Differential Equations that present their latest scientific results.

We expect the participation of a vast audience, including young researchers and PhD students, and we intend to present and exploit the interdisciplinary nature of mathematics as well as its applications in various areas. The meeting includes 2 mini-courses and several invited talks.

Atlantic Conference in Nonlinear PDEs - Dispersive and Elliptic Equations and Systems

@ Instituto Superior Técnico

The main goal of this conference is to bring together the distinct but parallel communities working and/or interested in Elliptic and Dispersive Partial Differential Equations. Many problems in these fields require a multidisciplinary approach, and we aim to join experts and early career mathematicians from both sides to foster an exchange of ideas and forge new collaborations and perspectives which might benefit the whole field of nonlinear PDES.

The program will consist of plenary talks delivered by invited speakers, as well as two parallel sessions of contributed talks and poster sessions.

Organizing Committee:
Hugo Tavares (CAMGSD, ULisboa)
Simão Correia (CAMGSD, ULisboa)
James Kennedy (GFM, ULisboa)
Gianmaria Verzini (Politecnico di Milano)
