The Workshop on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and Applications 2023 - WOTCA 2023 will be held at University of Évora, Portugal, on July 24-28, 2023.

It aims to bring together researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and their applications, in particular Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state of the art in these fields, to present open problems and to promote collaborative discussions.

This workshop follows the line of several previous WOTCA meetings.

The programme will consist of several invited 25+5 minute talks and a very small number of contributed talks. A preliminary list of speakers is available here. 

WOTCA 2023 has no registration fee and is open to everybody interested, but the number of participants will be limited, in order to foster dialogue in a friendly atmosphere.

A parallel workshop for young researchers, YRFAMP''23, will be organized from July 25-28, in Évora.

SPA Conferences are organized under the patronage of the Bernoulli Society and can justifiably be regarded as the most important international scientific meeting on the theory and applications of stochastic processes.

They are held annually except for the years when the World Congress in Probability and Statistics takes place.

This online international workshop brings together experts in quantum gravity and string theory to stimulate collaborative discussions and exchange of ideas on the latest developments and results in the field.

Organizers: Gabriel Lopes Cardoso, Suresh Nampuri.

The joint meeting aims at gathering international top-level researchers, whose scientific agenda relates to ongoing projects led by members of the research centers CAMGSD (Centre for Mathematics, Geometry and Dynamical Systems) and CMUC (Centre for Mathematics at University of Coimbra). As a consequence, it expects to broaden local scientific interaction and strengthen pre-existing collaborations. As a by-product, the event also exposes young researchers and advanced graduate students to an environment of scientific excellence. 

The scope of the meeting covers, though it is not limited to, nonlinear analysis, variational problems and methods, regularity theory for elliptic equations, free boundary problems, and related topics. The scientific program comprises two minicourses by J. Carrillo and Y. Sire, eight plenary lectures and four contributed talks.

Registration is free but mandatory.

This workshop aims to gather experts on Symplectic Geometry and Hamiltonian Dynamics in a leisurely ambiance. The program includes a small number of lectures, leaving plenty of time for informal discussions.

The purpose of this Workshop-School to bring together researchers working on different mirror symmetry phenomena occuring in moduli spaces. Along with cutting-edge research talks, there will be four introductory mini courses addressed to students and young researchers in differential geometry, algebraic geometry, theoretical physics and related areas.

YRFAMP “22 is a workshop geared towards students and young researchers in Functional Analysis, Mathematical Physics and related topics. It will be held alongside WOTCA 2022, aiming to foster contact between leading mathematicians and younger ones.

The Workshop on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and Applications 2022 / WOTCA 2022 aims to bring together researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and their applications, namely in Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state of the art in these fields, present open problems and engage in fruitful discussions.

This meeting follows eight previous WOTCA workshops.
