This workshop brings together leading researchers working on stochastic processes, interacting particle systems, and their wide-ranging applications in mathematics, physics, and beyond. Organized as part of the LiBERA midterm workshop under the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges (project no. 101183168LiBERA), it offers a unique opportunity for cross-disciplinary exchange at the interface of analysis, probability, mathematical physics, numerics and applications.

The program features 26 talks showcasing the latest results and innovative applications, providing a platform for lively discussions and knowledge sharing.

Lorentzian Geometry provides the mathematical foundation for Einstein’s theory of Relativity. The Meeting is aimed to convey researches on all aspects of Lorentzian Geometry. Topics include Differential Geometry, Geometric Analysis, Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Relativity. The Meeting comprises research talks, a mini-course and a poster session, as well as a social dinner. Students and young researchers are encouraged to participate

The 2025 edition will focus on Harmonic Analysis, Dispersive and Elliptic Equations.

This online international workshop brings together experts in quantum gravity, string theory and mathematical physics to stimulate collaborative discussions and exchange of ideas on the latest developments and results in the field.

The ninth edition of the biennial IST-IME conference, a collaborative effort between Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), and the Brazilian and Portuguese Mathematical Societies (SBM and SPM), will be held at IME-USP from August 4 to 8, 2025.

The 2025 edition of the conference "Global Portuguese Mathematicians" will take place in FCUL and aims at bringing together Mathematicians from around the world who have a strong connection with Portugal.

This meeting will bring together the large community interested in nonlinear PDEs, including elliptic, parabolic, dispersive and coagulation-fragmentation equations. Participation is free, but registration via the website is required. More information is available there. Limited funding may be available for young researchers.

The fifth Young Researchers in Functional Analysis and Mathematical Physics meeting, YRFAMP’25, will take place at University of Aveiro, Portugal, on July 8-11, 2025. The previous YRFAMP meetings were YRFAMP’18, YRFAMP’22, YRFAMP’23 and YRFAMP’24.

 It will be held aiming to foster contact between leading mathematicians and younger ones.

YRFAMP’25 welcomes students and young researchers in Functional Analysis, Mathematical Physics and related topics. However the number of talks will be limited. Those interested in participating should send an email to one of the organisers.

The program of YRFAMP’25 will consist of a series of invited 15+5 minute talks and a very small number of contributed talks.

The Workshop on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and Applications 2025 - WOTCA 2025 will be held at University of Aveiro, Portugal, on July 7-11, 2025.

It aims to bring together researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and their applications, in particular Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state of the art in these fields, to present open problems and to promote collaborative discussions.

This workshop follows the line of several previous WOTCA meetings.

The programme will consist of several invited 25+5 minute talks and a very small number of contributed talks. A preliminary list of speakers is available here. 

WOTCA 2025 has no registration fee and is open to everybody interested, but the number of participants will be limited, in order to foster dialogue in a friendly atmosphere.
